    Default Beautiful Things

Gentlemen, beauty is hard to resist. One such example for me is the Joris DE razor. Not only is the Joris an amazing shaver, it is also a beautiful thing. It is an aggressive razor. Yet it also holds a treasure of silk. I wanted a seven-day set. And now I have it. And I love it. I thought I should share the beauty of Joris with my friends.
    Stay well and enjoy,
    Obie

Those are some beautiful de's. I've been eyeballing those for some time.

Yes, Theseus, they are stunning razors and amazing shavers. They are well balanced in weight and overall grip. The heaviest is the one in the middle, the lined Palladium, at 102 grams, but the handle's design neutralizes the additional weight.

Very nice, sir. Surely a joy to have one for each day of the week.

I'm pretty much an exclusively straight shaver but if I had a DE like that, I would probably put it in my regular rotation.

Quit showing stuff like that, or maybe I shouldn't look would probably be better.

    Those are BEAUTIFUL!

I've got to look away now, I spent all my lunch money on straights.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing Obie. Those razors do indeed make a beautiful 7 day set.

Very, very nice, Obie! What are the handle materials? Is each razor a different type of shave? Congratulations and Enjoy! Tom

Thanks for the kind words, Tom. The razors share the same Joris shave head, and shave the same. Oh, I suppose, the different handles might contribute to a slight variation in the shave. The handles are, from left to right:

Palladium and Canadian walnut; light buffalo horn; Thuya Wood and gold shave head; lined palladium; Thuya Wood and Palladium; Rosewood and Palladium; and light buffalo horn and gold shave head.
