Default Finally Got A Dubl Duck!!

I have been wanting one of these for a long time now. I finally won this DD Goldedge off of Ebay a few days ago. It arrived yesterday and was shave-ready, I still stropped it about 15 strokes and sterilized it before using it. I must say it shaves really nice.
I also like the feel of the razor, it has a nice balance to it. I hope I didn't out bid anyone here, if so, Sorry! The pictures are from the Ebay listing. I haven't had time to take any of my own yet. The only issue, is that there's a crack in the scale around the pin. It's been repaired and seems to be fine, only time will tell.

Nice DD-I'm waiting (maybe forever?) for the bubble to burst on all the high-end razors I want (Ducks, W&B's, etc.).

Thanks guys. I have been watching and bidding on DD for awhile now. It was either too pricey or I was out bid at the last moment. I just got lucky with this one. I ended up paying $67.00 w/shipping for this one. To me that was pretty reasonable.

I picked up a DD Satin Wedge at a local antique store last year for $20, somebody didn't know what they had but I did! It had a set of Boker scales and needed a little cleaning up and honing. I just happened to have a Boker that needed scales. So, I transferred the scales to the Boker, bought a set of scales from Superior Shave for I think $11 for the DD SW. Got me a quality 5/8 wedge on the cheap that shaves great! I had heard how well the DD's shaved and have to agree.

Very nice, I believe you are lucky to own one. I wouldn't let it go if it was mine. Enjoy!
