New Find
I had walked past this unassuming box probably 50 times over the last year during my visits to the antique mall. For some reason, today I decided to open it. To my surprise it was a shaving kit. The brush is missing and I'm not sure that it is the original razor, but the scuttle is there and is beautiful. The razor is a 9/16 Crown Cutlery, Sheffield in bone scales. Should clean up well.Enjoy.BTW, sorry about the poor pics. It's dark and rainy today and energy saving light bulbs don't make for the best photo lighting.

Thanked: 146Wow, Nice score Theseus! That scuttle is outstanding, from what I understand the floral motif was a prevalent pattern back then.

Congrats on a great find. Always pays to open the box.......unless you're Pandora.
