Me too ! I'm not saying I like a bunch of red rust, devil's spit or pitting .... but honest patina that took 150 years to accumulate .... I'll take that over a shiny mirror finish on an antique razor any day.

I like patina lately. I mean I REALLY like patina. I want to marry it and want it to have my babies. But I don't see patina on this that I'd be obsessive about keeping. I think this'd look really cool highly polished (or with a satin finish) with modern looking big scales with a point...

Carl, you mean like TI scales? I saw that Max did one like this a little while back with pointed scales. I like the design, but always associate those with TI. Whenever I think of a big WB with nice petina, I think of Bela's. I might try to emulate that.
