    Default Anchor stamped straight razor

Hey y'all it's Cheetah Meat with my second installment.

The owner listed this as a Wade & Butcher based on the fact that it had an anchor on the Tang but here at SRP we all know better. It may be a W&B but it may be another manufacturer. I have 1 other straight razor with an anchor on it but I have not seen an anchor that looks like this one. I have seen a W&B with an anchor on it but this aint it! Any info would help please!!

Be forwarned the razor is not in the best condition. Parental guidance is advised.

    Thanks for looking

    The post said tortoise shell.
I just won it so I don't have it in my possession yet.

I'm surprised you bought that one.

IT ISN'T AN 8/8 OR BIGGER!!!

It is, however, a neat old paint stirrer.

I have two 8/8 masonics that I want to post but the patina over the etching makes it impossible to photograph. One is Marshes and Shepherd. The other is a Wade and Butcher.

Yours is def the best. It's 9/8's, the marking are crystal clear, it's in great shape and your name is Wullie...what more can you ask for...lol

I'm switching up my style too. There's a certain type of blade that I'm stalking right now. We'll be speaking soon again my friend...LOL

Cheetah? Speaking of style, have you shaved with a straight yet? Me and Wullie will ride the train up there and help, if needed!

    Nice old piece!

Why don't you PM Manah or Neil Miller so we can find out something on it?

Does this mean there is going to be a price drop on the big razors?

Or perhaps an INCREASE on the old stub tailed paint stirrers.....

Nope not yet. I still haven't picked a razor yet.
I just got my strop today though along with these 2 razors that we're having a great laugh about right now. I guess I should post that right now and complete the holy trinity of silver plated shaving mug - waterford crystal brush and vintage Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co strop.
