Default YAFMF -- Yet Another Flea Market Find

I happened to see this one from a display case at the local flea market a few weeks ago. The price was right so I snatched it up. The only thing is, I wish folks would just leave them alone if they know how to clean them up. Apparently, someone decided that a Dremmel or something would be a good thing to use. Now that wonderfully distinct etching is going to have to come off!
This would have been the best etching I had found on a flea market razor if not for that.......oh well, look for her in the restore section soon!
Now for the real reason ya'll read these posts......... the pics!

There is no accounting for some peoples children playing with power tools.

BUT, to finish off your Gloat, how much green did you part with to get this beauty?
Any day on this side of the flowers is a good day!

    $10.00.

I think they felt guilty about the etching.

They should. The scales are in much better condition than the ones on the Shave Well W&B I recently bought. Nice.

Overall it's a great razor. Pins are tight, scales are in decent shape, no cracks or splits. Centers well. I don't think the scales are original, though. The pins look too rough. Unless that happened while someone was trying to tighten the scales, this one has been re-scaled. Not a bad job of it, but I'm really wanting to learn how make scales anyway so I think this ol' girl will be a good candidate. Now....where did I put that Koa wood I've been saving?
