Awesome story with an awesome razor. Another story that proves there are nice people still out there.

That's a great story. I always love hearing the history behind razors, tools, etc. The SR is a beauty.

    Wow, what a wonderful story.

To preserve the great history of this razor for whoever is so lucky to have the razor when you are gone, perhaps a nice letter including not only this great story, but the names of previous owners, to now include yours, would be a great addition.

This one would surely have a special place in any collection.

'm So agree with you! the story makes it extra special. I have several razors from that time and also with a story, but this story was so special. This razor is treated with more respect than normal.

For the record, my wife give her today a big bunch of flowers as a thank you. (she did not accept money)

I would ask her to write as much on paper as she is willing to do in regards with the gentleman who owned this fine blade, she will be more than pleased I bet to tell his whole story as she remembers it. A copy of an old photograph of the gentleman would be nice as well.
