Evening gentleman,

I hope you are all well. I thought i would share a recent purchase with you and ask for your opinions.

I purchased this razor from the bay from a chap in Germany for £32.00. It was advertised as a meat chopper made in 1850. When i received it and checked it over the makers marks seem to have been etched out and im sure they are not the original scales (look far to new for 1850!!!).

Im no expert either but the blade itself measures 6.5cm long... Is this a common size for this type of SR.

Im also looking to get it restored from Jamie (Celticcrusaider) when i have some spare cash.
