Default "CCC" or Cattaraugus Cutlery co.

So my mother calls me on the phone and says shes antique shopping, and found a razor in decent shape that says CCC on it. The price was $20 for it, so I figured what the heck. I knew nothing about this razor until I searched it on here. Seems like a decent razor and might turn out to be a beauty. This is my first American razor and cant wait to bring it back to life.

The company is Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. They were based in Little valley, New york.

Here's some pics of the razor. It also has a 2 on the back side of the tang. very curious about this and im wondering if anyone can shed some light on it.
feel free to add or correct me on any of this info.

When I was searching for info on this razor, I found another thread that Manah had dropped some info on. We all know that Manah has the facts on every Razor ever made. Check it out.

Hey that's awesome! It'll clean-up nicely I think! Given it's heritage, it should be a shaver too!

GOINS' Says Cattaraugus used a CCC mark but with " Little Valley N. Y." so IMO, without the Little Valley it is a Curtin & Clark Cutlery as GOINS" says CCC was used, usually stamped on the blade.

    GOINS'
It's a very informative book, but with some mistakes.
Curtin & Clark Cutlery Co. has four "C" in their mark.
