The Cream colored one is a Genco, with some discoloration above the scale line from aging. The other is a Torrey, which shows no hone wear at all on the blade, even the box for it looks untouched with cracking from age around the ends. Both are hollow ground, with not chips or cracks. Going to be sending them off to be cleaned and polished up, along with being honed into shape. Came up to $40 for the pair so I feel I did ok... Also have a T. Hessenbruch & Co. that should arrive soon, though it has a tiny nick in the blade that doesn't go past the bevel so should hone out.

Nice razors. They should clean up and shave nicely. I love my Genco razors.

Keep us posted if you don't mind. They do look like they will make the cut. Enjoy.

I'm waiting on one more then sending these two, the one I'm still waiting on and an A.W. Wadsworth & Son XLNT off to be cleaned up and honed properly. I don't have the tools and with college 5 days a week and working the other two I don't really have the time.

But once I get them back I'll do some pics with my small, yet growing collection. I'm one short of a full 7 day set yet but I'm getting there.

Genco is kinda local too, I got a kick out of the idea of bringing it back to NY State.

Absolutely New york state razors are very underated, usually plain looking but fantastic shavers!
