Default The White Elephant - Joseph Elliot For Barbers Use Straight Razor

    Ebay listing:
This razor came from an Old New England Barbers estate.
It has an Horn Handle, Blade edge is 2 1/2" with Barber notch
Handle is 6", Marked: Joseph Elliot - For Barber's Use with maker symbols,
no cleaning done as some collectors prefer original aging condition.

Hey y'all. I see some of you guys have missed me while I was away...LOL Work has been killing me lately and I have been saving up to move to Austin Texas to be closer to my
surrogate fathers Wullie and Sharptonn but I just snagged this about an hour ago in the good ole Cheetah Meat "last second fashion".

I have to say I am really impressed with the look of this razor. This razor screams classy. I love the lines. Of course i don't have it in hand yet but returning that so called 10/8s W&B paved the way for this purchase which looks well worth the price paid. I don't know the width of the blade but it def looks closer to an 8/8 (I hope!). I don't think I've seen this "look" before where the tang is really this thick. This, I think, would be called a frameback and i think there is some "shoulder action" happening. Someone feel free to chime in. I'm really excited though. By the looks of the tail it's not the oldest razor in the box but I think it will clean up well.

    Thanks

    Cheetah
