Thanked: 16Lucky Ebay score, Wostenholm and Schofield
Picked these off the bay because I wanted the Wostenholm to go with another recent find with honey horn scales
I liked the shape on the smaller one and it says Schofield, Old Hall St, Liverpool, on the tang and Hollw Ground Razor on the blade. The scales are severly bug eaten, but I order some horn and rescale it.
The Geo has "Geo. Wostenholm &Sons Celebrated IXL Razor, Washington Works on the tang, but the cool part is the blade is etched with Geo. Wostenholm, The Exhibition of 1851, and has an etching of the Crystal Palace. The scales are bad, but still usable. I think I am going to polish it up lightly to preserve the etch and hone. All for $20!
