Thread: first three razors I honed myself........

After a couple years of shaving and playing with my stones, I have finally been able to produce 3 shavable blades. It was very nice to finally shave with something I honed myself, very good feeling. I have to thank Pink Lather for the tips and all the time & advice I have acquired from him. Here is a pic of the three I just honed & shaved with.

Dean, Bravo!! That's wonderful. As Catrent says - its a wonderful feeling.

I can say that Dean will be a guy that learns much faster than I ever did. His attitude is magnificent & I knew it would be a very short time before we saw this post. I won't be surprised at all to hear of guys sending him blades for honing, and expect his skills will rocket past my own. I'll be cheering as he goes by.

This is when a perfect plan comes together & so very good to hear. Good show by both Mentee & Mentor. I truly mean that. Now the real test is to have some veteran shaver/honers to shave with your edges, that's the next challenge I present to you.
