Another victim of RAD

Due to my recently diagnosed and "professionally confirmed" RAD, I was forced to purchase the following...

It's a Hibbard Spencer and Barlett, "Our Very Best." It is supposed to be 5/8 but I'll have to see when she gets here...Looks to have horn scales as you can see some natural grain in the pictures but I could be wrong...Gonna polish, hone and shave nothing more...

From my research it seems that once RAD has set its fiendish hooks in on an individual it becomes systematic and remains for the life of the individual with the only hope being periods of dormancy.

Not to Hijack my own thread but is it "faux pas" to make known price one paid in this forum?
