    Default New coticule naturel combo

I just bought this natural combo coticule from Belgium. I just tried to hone one of my old razors. A Swedish Erik Anton Berg full wedge razor from around 1910.

I've started using 1000, 3000 and 8000k King stones. Then finished on the coticule. I've think the grit is rather high on this stone. Much higher than on my old coticule, also on the picture.

The razor is cutting hair on the arm 5 mm over the skin easily.

I will shave test it tonight!

I just love natural combos. The Belgium Coticule is one of the finest stones I have and I think it beat my Escher on hard tempered razors.

Nice gear, congrats but that looks more like a frameback to me.

The coticule layer seems thin at one side.

yea but lucky one doesn't use much stone up when only using the stone to finish.
stones is the one thing i cann't make my mind up on. So the easy answer is gather them
    all up.
