Resale shop unexpected find, long tang
While waiting for my daughter to finish work I had some time to waste and went into a resale shop to look to see if they had any knives and I found this gem that I just could not pass up.

Couldn't pass up lol? How much were they selling it for that would make you word it that way lol. It's beautiful! Short of some serious bucks, any self respecting straight lover would HAVE to take that home lol.
Congrats.David

I couldn't pass it up because of the unusual tang. He said this was one of the best looking razors he has ever had in his possession. He said he just put it in the case and I was the first to look at it. He constantly gets people in asking about straights and when this was brought into him, he picked it up for good money. and the bottom line was $36.

Resale shop unexpected find, long tang
Sweet razor, those long tangs are few and far between.

Interesting design. Not the typical skinny, swoopy style seen from time to time. It is simply a regular tang, much longer with 2 finger notches on top. Great find in great shape.

I rest my case.

Very nice looking blade, and for 36.00??!!!
What's that line running paralell to the spine? Almost looks like a frameback, except it also looks like a hollow ground.
