The patina on my razor definitely has to go. is there a reason why its called a rat razor?

I think you got good taste Cheetah. I reall like the look of these razors as well. But I'm a little worried, if you're gonna start outbidding me on the small razors too. I think you should focus only on ridiculously large razors, so that I have a reason to go to Ebay. If you branch out into the small razors, what will be left for me?

I'm finally starting to get some respect around here...lol
Sorry Joe I had to have this one. I remember a long while back someone posted a twin pair of tapered greaves with hollow points and it was over for me. Can't wait to have this in my clutches. I'm sure that you have more than enough razors "regular" joe

How modest you are. I think I'm gonna call you extraordinary Joe from now on. Giving me such compliments. I bet you say that to all the Cheetah's... lol I'm blushing...LMAO

When there are razors that I have to have I will post them in the forum in a section called " Cheetah has to have these razors" . It will be located right next to the section called " Cheetah has to rescale these razors in black horn.

    Lol

So the Greaves showed up at the work place today so naturally I brought it home and sanded it with 3M 180 and 220 grit wet dry sandpaper to remove the patina off of most of the blade and shank. Something fun to do while watching the Big Bang Theory. I don't have buffing compounds, machine equipment or bisquick so do ask for a price sheet or my home address so you can send me your unkempt equipment..

Here go the before and after pics children......

This one might actually make it to my face.

Wow, looking good. That patina looked pretty gnarly before. How hard was it to get a nice surface?

That was a couple of hours of hand sanding and polishing with mothers. So now we have a clean satiny finish...Hurray
