Default Mappin & Webb Cavalier Razor

Ebay snag from a while back, thought it had ivory scales but it doesn't. Pretty wedgey grind. Honed it up and took it for a spin around my face. Worked OK, Needs to go back on the stones again I think.

I sure like my NEW badger brush though. Have to retire my old faithful VDH EL CHEAPO.

Good looking blade, love the engraving on it. So what badger brush did you get?

    Hi Bob,

I got the Vulfix New Progress "Old Original" Super Badger in the medium size. I LOVE it!

Nice one, Wullie! Had not seen one before! Dang old wedges can be a pain! 2 Layers of tape?

That was the first brush I bought when I started shaving with straights. Small world ain't it. Got to agree they are nice. Enjoy

Started out and finished with one layer. may have to jack it up a bit and run two.

It'll get there or it'll go out the door. LOL

Edge looks shiny Wullie. Did you set up a micro bevel ? If not, bevel may not be quite there.
