    Reminds me of photos of a rescaled papillon butterfly razor.

    Thanks to all ! I agree for dating this razor from the beginning of the 1800's, spanish or italian, maybe a "souvenir" of a "grenadier de la garde" during the napoleonics wars ?

    Something to dream about, that's what make an ugly razor pleasant to my eyes , the story behind the item !
