Hogg & Jameson
I just had to have this one. The heavy near wedge blade has a some pitting, but the scales are near perfect. Rather then try to sand out the pitting, I think I may just dip the blade to remove the blackening.
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

chrome safe metal polishes would be your best bet so long as there is no rust.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

That's a great looking blade - and don't forget that leaving it as-is with regard to the pitting is an option too. It is well away from the edge and so won't have an effect on your shave, so it's really an aesthetic decision.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Beautiful lines on that one, and ivory scales, too. Nice.

Thanked: 247No one asked, but I would probably leave that one as is.
Any ideas on the age? Looks like a nice piece!
