Now that is a Grelot that is on my list of must tries. Love the shoulderless blade with thumb notch. Would have paired nicely with the Colt Python I used to have Very nice razor.

I bought it as a rusty lump at ebay.fr, didn't pay much more than €10 i think.
She could use a good polish but shaves very well, heavy sturdy blade!
I would like to have a good french stone to go with her thou.

That is one lucky find! I have the same razor issued with TI scales. Yours with its original scales and box certainly has more charisma! Enjoy this excellent shaver.

I agree, lovely razor. I'm a total sucker for this kind of blade shape.

I’ve been wanting a TI or Le Grelot for a while now. It stems from my few TI/Sabatier kitchen knives that I’ve been using for years. You see a few pop up on eBay but they draw a lot of attention.

They sure do. The only way to find one at a decent price, is when it's not advertised as a le grelot quarter hollow

The original box makes it even better.
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.
