Got off work tonight and checked the mailbox. I reached in and felt around only to have my hand stop at a box. As I pulled out the package my face developed a devilish grin. I couldn't wait to open it, I felt like a child on Christmas morning. :)
Well, here it is...

I know, that's a lot of pictures. But I wanted to get some opinions from you gents about my next move. As you can see it needs some work. But before I do anything I have some questions.
I am guessing this is all original, but I could be wrong. Any clarification on that would be helpful.
Should I attempt to restore or would you all recommend I send it out? Given it looks all original I don't want to mess anything up, nor do I really have the tools. I have sandpaper up to 3k and mothers polish. Stones are 1k,4/8 combo and a barber hone.
Are those hone marks or just the way those hollow grounds look? I checked a lot of photos online and they all look kinda different when it comes to that "spine meets hollow ground" area. If it is hone wear that's fine and dandy, it just doesn't match on both sides so that may urge me to send it out if the hone wear is uneven.
Either way, just wanted to share this with everyone. I would like to thank this website for furthering my knowledge and interest of straights and the IBSCS for their support and friendship.

There is quite a bit of rust around the pivot, and yes, the scales look great. I really have only restored 3 razors. All of which looked a lot better to start of with. Cool that we have twin razors though!

By Full Monty you mean let a pro take care of it, right? Not that movie from the 90's...
