Yes, it's a 5/8.
During this weekend I'll hone it; it'll take some work as it came in with clear signs of honing on low grit stone (I'd say 500 grit) and the bevel does not look good. I'll also need to clean up those dark spots near the pin.--

I managed to remove the most of the rust and reduced the stains... and this is the good part...
the bad part is that the blade was honed in an very uneven way, apart from being a little smiling, it does have uneven contact with the stone (I lapped the stones just before honing this one, so I'm sure the stones are flat). The blade has the most of the contact on the centre and the external part stay lifted. The worst part is near the heel, where, on one side, the stone didn't even touch the blade. I tried using two layer of tapes but that didn't really make a difference. The back of the blade seems to be irregular, that might be the cause.
Any suggestion, recommendation? Consider that we don't have Lynn here in Italy so sending the razor out is the very last option (customs to pay every single time... paid 21 Euro of customs for this one...). I found a cutlery store that can hone it, but never gave them any razor to hone, so I'm a bit worried to give them this one.--
