    Default New Razor Storage

I wanted to share some photos of my new razor chest. Just showed up in the mail yesterday! (made by US Acrylic, their 7 drawer jewelry chest)

I actually first saw this at the Container Store, they sell it as a jewelry chest. I couldn't help but see its greater potential as razor storage. I found it on Amazon a little cheaper so I pulled the trigger. It's still on the expensive side considering it's all acrylic but still much cheaper than a vintage chest or one of the new production cases which can climb into the $200 range very easily and fit less razors.

This one is 7 drawers high and can probably reasonably fit about 5 razors per shelf depending on how you lay them. The only concern I have with this chest is that the drawers do not have a catch because they are meant to slide completely out. I was skeptical at first but it's a problem easily solved by just removing the entire drawer when you need to grab a razor rather than just sliding as far as you need - just to avoid any accidents.

I thought I'd share because I've been looking for something like this for a long time and haven't found anything I truly liked until now. It's simple, can match almost anything, and doesn't take up much room at all. (the black padding on each drawer can be removed extremely easily and replaced with whatever you want, if anything)

The first drawer has my two Ace razors and the two razors in the photo with the drawer out are my Max Sprecher customs (my apologies for the photo quality, iPhone needs to be replaced with a real camera). All I need now are more presentable razors to fill this thing with but I've got 3 on their way in the mail right now!

That is a great idea for storage. Also like the "display" aspect. Very nice find.

that is Awesome! I love the fact that its clear and shows off the razors so you know whats inside. if it was wood you just wouldn't get the same effect.
