Thread: Durham Duplex!!!! Oh The Joy

I seen this one on the bay and thought Durham Duplex I have to have it. Not really, I was looking at the razor next to it. I saw the tell tale arrow and cross of Wade & Butcher. The blade looked pretty bad, but what caught my eye was the scales. I thought they looked like ivory so figured why not I haven't had ivory scales yet. Thought I would take a chance and make an offer and I got it. When it arrived sure enough the scales were ivory. The blade didn't look as bad as the photo. I might be able to do something with it. Either way I have the scales. This one might turn out to be fun. First picture is from the listing and others when I got it.

I didn't think anyone else would look at these. The picture made the razor look pretty bad, but I was looking at the scales. Just shows how a picture can change a razor.

It was only the little ding that kept me from buying this. Looks pretty decent. Plus that Durham is sure to appreciate in value.
