Default a couple antique store buys today

well i had to meet a guy today south of me to sell a few things so i decided id make a day of it hitting antique stores ... of course being winter and a Monday only 2 were open but i did find a few antique malls that i will be sure to hit up this spring ...
    so i picked up
(what looks to be a ) Gillette super speed TTO black tip DE
and a straight just marked "Extra Hollow Ground "
    "Sheffield"

The straight looks never used , but not taken care of and with some rust along the edge and a few other spots i hope to be able to save it ..
all in all i dropped $11 for both of them and the Gillette is flawless as far as operation goes so im happy

i found a bunch of razors but all of them were so badly worn , frowning , rusted , and trashed scales that i couldnt even pick up some razors to part out for scales ... im pumped about a few that were closed because they at least looked like they will be good ...lol.. either way im like an old lady in those places , i think i look at everything ...lol

those will clean up very well, for the DE. a little vineger and water boil will get rid of any gunk build up. chrome polish would have it almost new looking. if youd like it. just a thought. great finds

You would be surprised how a little Colgate toothpaste & brush will shine her up. Easier than the mothers.
