Default Antique store finds, looking for info

I was hoping for a bit advice. I'm new to the SR's and already have the bug, like most i was in one of the tons of antique stores in this town and picked up a couple of razors and one i left. If anyone can shed any light on the recent finds and if i'm a fool for leaving the other at the store.(yes i can still go and pick it up for the asking price of $25)
the first one I picked up for $20 is a H.H.HILL SOLINGEN GERMANY BLUE STEEL scales are perfect and no pits or nicks in the blade(actually cleaned up beautifully with a wheel and some jewelers rouge)
The second is a CROWN RAZOR CO BOSTON MASS EXTRA HOLLOW GROUND FULLY WARRANTED scales have to be replaced and some pitting on the top but the cutting edge is perfect. I picked it up for $10
and as i mentioned the one that they were asking $25 is for a GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SONS CELEBRATED I.X.L. everything was beautiful except a tiny nick in the inner portion of the scale, barely visible, even though if i purchased it i would probably replace the scales and put on a nice bloodwood, redwood or another cocobolo set of scales(benefit of being in redwood country)
    any information/advise would be appreciated.
    thanks in advance,
    Christian

And if anyone has any knowledge or information about the stone that would also be greatly appreciated.

The stone looks to be a standard barbers hone I am not familiar with the brand. Barbers hones are for maintaining the edge on your razor, usually 5 laps or so, they generally do not recommend more than that as you will produce a wire edge, which is not desirable. Barbers hones are not so much for establishing a correct shaving bevel . Try it out see how it goes.

the one with the tan scales (I think the blue steel) looks to have a bit of a frown going on, the Crown one with the broken scale looks really good and I would pick it up in a heartbeat, The Wostenholm looks good except it has quite a bit of hone wear on the spine.

All brands are decent, the Geo. is probably the most popular out of the three but usually because they can be found in larger sizes.

Looks to me that all 3 of your razors are restorable with a little work and honing of course. The barbers hone duro looks in good usable condition,
here a pic of a Duro box with instruction Enjoy!

Martin, do you happen to know the grit on the two sides of the stone?
