    Default Brenger 7/8 and mugs

Went to the flea market and saw 40 broken razors, 20 overpriced razors and this. Justus Brenger & Co #12 Wald Solingen. The grind is lovely and only a little hone wear.

Hazel Atlas milk glass mug and Old Spice mug. $3 ea.

One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

Very nice score. I suspect that straight will be a great shaver. My favorite profile in a straight.

If you had asked me how I wanted a custom blade made, it would have looked like this. Lucky I had sunglasses on and the seller didn't see my eyes bug out and then charge me $50.

No dings on edge, only light hone and strop needed. Shaved with it and this is one big, aggressive razor. You could shave a bear with this.

eod7 what a wonderful looking razor! I think one of my next ones will have to be shoulder less French point of a similar design to yours. What does the blade etching say?

I cannot read it. The etching is very indistinct. The first few letters are Garan...
