Back to the antique stores after some time off.
It's been a while since I've posted any finds, mainly beacause I haven't found anything. Yesterday I went to an antique store after taking some time away from them and found two new razors.
The first is a 5/8 worked spine Boker in some old, well made wood scales. A little clean up and this one should be back on the line.
The second one is a bit of a mystery to me. It is a 6/8, old Sheffield wedge. The ang is kind of hard to read in whole. It looks like the maker is John C. Cockmill. It has horn scales with the number 685 pressed into them. It needs some clean up, but I expect it will be a remarkable shaver.

Thanked: 2027I believe the numbers pressed into the scales may mean it was a military issue razor.
