I think you did fine for the money, the C-Mon will need a serious bevel reset, it seems by my screen

Maybe it's just me, but I think the C-Mon looks shortened. Or somehow modified...

But C-Mon's are great shavers, so if she'll take and edge that's a win. The edge on the other looks a bit wavey (maybe that's just me...), so I would have passed for the money (again, maybe that's just me).

But hone them up and see how they do, and then you'll know how you did.

The C-MON might have been shortened as its only around 2inches long, but for some odd reason(maybe because Im a smaller guy with a small face)i like the smaller size. Might have to look around and find a new--er shorter length razor,

The bevel needs a bit of tlc, but nothing that a bit of sand paper, several quality stones, a good paddle strop and a lot of patience wont cure. The only thing im curious about is on the scales are the metal c-mon decals is superglue good to get the corner to stick back on as one of the corners is coming up a bit?

Looks like they can be used to shave with after some more love. The C-mon has a short blade but some like it that way for various reasons. The question is ,,,,Do you like them ? That's all that matters. Make em shave and see.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

This is all new to me especially the restores, but I've noticed/found there are plenty if people on this site that are amazing at the restores. Actually I'd consider most pieces of functional art. Eventually I want them all restored but till then ill sharpen and see, and continue to learn
