Default Wade & Butcher Ivory Fixer-Upper

I posted about this ebay purchase earlier, but did not post any before pics, so here they are. Took a while to hone out the chip, then rework the entire bevel to get it right. She cleaned up real good. I was not sure I was going to be able to save this blade, but it now shaves like a dream and has become my favorite, for now, I think because I spent so much time fixing it. I believe these are the original scales. Cleaning the ivory was a first for me, which consisted of some "polishing" and scraping old crud from the insides. I sanded the blade up to 1500 grit, then hit it with some Mother's.

Wow, that looks amazing! Great job. I hope to be able to snag a decent W&B someday and restore it if need be. Seem like they're among the best razors.
