Default My first Joseph Rogers & Sons

Thought I would go to a local antique store and see if there was anything new since last few times there wasn't. Well today there was a few new ones and one caught my eye. It is a 6/8 1/4 hollow Joseph Rogers & Sons. My first Joseph Rogers. When we finally got around to talking price the first thing he said was he checked on eBay and I winced at that cause most people see what others are asking and not what they sell them for. The razor was in really nice shape so I was hoping he wasn't going to want alot. Turns out he didn't. In case you were wondering it was $25 and I am quite pleased with it. Doesn't look like I will have to do much to it. Getting anxious to shave with it.

I'd be anxious to shave with it too. Very fine razor, congrats.

    Nice score!!

All the antique dealers around me get stuff in occasionally but usually put higher prices on them which seem to stay constant regardless of condition. sometimes I find really nice one's for the money but other times they are just junkers.
One day I might be so lucky as to find a nice Rodgers like that

I have a wedge Joseph Rodgers. Great razors, go careful with the square point! I currently have a bit more street cred than I'd like because of it
