I thought a little local heritage might be fun.
Well RAD strikes again,
I found one from a local hardware store that opened in 1893, (http://www.summersindustrial.com/about.html)
in 1974 they opened an industrial supply side that is still operating today.
The pictures look a little iffy as to how great a restore it will be but I think it should be serviceable.
Not to mention a shave with a local piece of history sounds inviting, plus I do not own a round point yet. (justification I know...I know)

Ha! That's too cool!
That's the reason I'm looking for an old Joseph Allen with the tang stamp J. Allen on it. I've seen them before. I want to get one now.

Thanked: 1184I paid way to much for this one but it is from a city close to the town I was born in. It didn't pass for a duck but it as a couple on it. Anyway it is my best shot a local nostalgia. My little town had 1 traffic signal and the claim to fame was Michigan seamless pipe.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
