First attempt at my own scales (other then the antler )
well i was sitting around yesterday and thought . " hhhmmm what to do what to do ? " so i put the new sanding belt /disc on the sander and headed off to woodcraft ... walked out with a bottle of CA glue and a piece of Bocote ... id been looking at ban saws all week to replace the Delta i had years ago ( should of never sold it ) and after paying all the bills i was left with the hacksaw option ...lol

then after getting them where i wanted them to be it was CA glue time .. what a mess , ill go with med next time , first 3 coats were good ... then i must of been lazy cause from there on out i had gloves glued to hand , arm stuck to table ect ect .... i dont know how much different the med is from the thin but the thin was EVERYWHERE ...lol
so a few coats in

i followed the directions for the CA glue off of the site and after all done it was cool to see everything come to shape or shine i should said after all the sanding and cutting with the turtle wax ..
so here they are !! i eyed balled the pin holes , there a little off, and i cant get the blade centered ( it is a little warped at tang but i knew that going in ) but everything else came together to my standards =BOCOTE scales , BRASS pins , ANTLER wedge
