Thread: a ruff one ... think i can save it though

took a gamble on a razor HOPING the rust was surface and the blade had a bit more meat on it ... ive been lucky with my gambles so far but this one was deeper then surface rust to big of a hurry to take pics of the heavy rust but minus the deep pits the edge is clean so i think i can get it to shave !! atleast it came with a brush to restore ...lol

Looks to me from the pics that most of the deep pitting is close to the spine, im thinking it should be ok to get a good edge on this one, cool looking blade with the writing and all, Enjoy!

thanks , it has a slight warp i just saw while hitting the hone real quick .. it first looked like someone left it in the rain ..lol.. that one side that wasnt in the scales was solid rust ... im surprised it only has the pitting that it does ..lol

Nice razor. Too bad it's been 'modernized' at some point with hollow grinding and taking the tang down. Lookin' good though.

probably because they left it in the rain once before too ...lol , then they figured ill have it ground down and take better care of it ...lol ...
