Default woodcraft part #3 completion !!

well it is done ... has some blemishes but is more then good enough for my taste !! has one little spot in the CA Glue finish that i have to go back in and touch up but that will be for another day .... used 2 washers for stack in the double pins , and a 3 washer stack in the pivot pin , bleached the antler spacer then coated it in poly after it dried , thought about putting a metal liner around the spacer but i think ill save that for next time ,all thats left now is to do some touch up on the 8k or 12k , strop ,oil the blade and place it next to its other Greaves friends until we meet again around the sink !! (cell pics , ive been lazy with the camera lately )

Oh... this might not be for me then.
I am like you also, I like to have things done quickly.
But that is in direct conflict of my OCD to have things PERFECT.
I will try not to glue myself to anything at least...

Just out of newbie curiosity, why is CA glue used instead of some sort of a polyurethane finish? Does the glue hold up better than poly or what?
