    Default my firs Torrey

    saw this the other day on the bay and since i never had a Torrey i figured id add this fine American razor to my collection ... not to mention its a little wedgie and i like that as well ..

    i read on here that the Torrey stamp with just the whip under it was the low end "whip-line" or razors where cost were cut on the finish and the grind ... !!! well a little bit of light sanding and a bit of polish and her it is !!

    Very nice. I have two Torrey's in my rotation and both are top notch, hope you enjoy the shaves for years to come.

    I have a 6/8 torrey near wedge. Shaves as good as any other I have.

    Nice shape to that blade.
    One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.
