    Default C MON Wedge

I've had some great luck lately, between really good deals in the wild and some low priced Ebay wins with no competition, I should have played the lottery instead. A Carl Monkhouse has been on my list of razors to acquire for quite a while, and although this doesn't have the nice bolsters and cracked ice scales, it is an extremely clean example (it appears to be unhoned but the point is chipped :\ ). The blade is about 11/16th. Now I feel I must boast just a little, this is what $15 at a flea market can get you:

That is nice, I like that grind. Never had a bad shave from a razor with that type of near-wedge grind.

I have one of those C-Mon blades. I had to put new scales on it but it is the best shaver I have. Takes an incredible edge.

Did the green plastic start cell rotting? I know that green celluloid scales are prone to that, like the Otto Deutsch's.
