Thread: finished 2 more today ..

now i gotta go to the hones , havent felt like honing anything lately so i figured it was a good time to rescale a couple that needed it ..

here are a few crappy cell pics
this is a Greaves i got couple weeks ago that was ruff , edge is still ruff but i dressed it in Bolivian Rosewood with a white acrylic spacer .




this one came out dressed in walnut , i made a set and something didnt look right so today i through another slab down and ended up putting these ones on .. used the wedge from its old scales .. i have another big blade to rescale soon as i figure out material then put a list together to meet the minimum order amount ..lol

I love wood scales. Those look great. What did you finish them with?

Very nice my friend! I too love natural materials for my scales.

i went the polyurethane route this time ... i was gonna go with a oil type finish like a teak/tung but it was late at night and i was impatient and didnt want to wait till the store opened to grab some .....lol ...
