    Tried to get an edge on this and it is WAY BEYOND my skill level.
    I have honed a couple of others I have gotten with pretty good results but this is a DIFFERENT animal!
    Looks like I will have to send this one out to get an edge put on it!

    I see you like the abuse.... Not that im judging, i would have picked that project too if the price was right. Looks like you've given an unlikely candidate new life. Good deal! Lets see it when its done!

    It's a good idea to try setting a bevel pre restoration. Can save a lot of work if you know straight up front what the steel & geometry's like.
    The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

    I Have A Norton 4/8K And I Could NOT get It To Take An Edge AT ALL!
