Seriously though, that is a crying shame. I sincerely doubt that you could have it melted and re-cast as advised, if only because razors are forged, not cast. Re-melting to the right temp would probably alter the quality of the steel, too, though I'm not 100% sure about that, not being as clever as Mike Blue!
I think I would just frame it - just like you have it in the pic - and hang it in the workshop as a reminder.

LMAO! I hear ya there!
I have since found out that it is NOT able to be re-cast. You would have ot know EXACTALLY what the metal was in order to heat treat it properly etc, etc, etc...
That is a pretty good idea also!
