    Welp, got a fourth Torrey four sided strop with another coti slab on it! Then I finally got around to buying some material for making these easier to hold in the hand.

    I'm wondering, is a different thread* there is some talk about italian (or maybe french) hone looking very much like coticules but apparently are something different. Now visually the coti's in this thread look like coti's, no doubt about that but since they are being called italian razor hones on the label, could it be posible that these are actually the italian look alike coti's?

    Thanks for showing me that thread, some very cool stones in it! I need to get to using these Old Rock stones to see if they perform like my other coticules to draw some conclusions. But you're right, off of looks alone they definitely look like coti's.
