Thread: Finally, a good ebay find!

Just got it in the mail yesterday. A 1 1/16th Celebrated Hollow Wade and Butcher. It took a great edge in about 30 minutes and I think that will be the extent of what I'm gonna do to this blade. All original scales with no cracks or delamination. I put a light coat of straight razor oil on it an will leave it till it doesn't scare me to death to weild!

Thats crazy, shave with it. You didn't buy it to be a mantle piece did you?

Nice find. Take good care of the razor and look after the scales. I am sure she will continue to call to you until are comfortable to shave with her. Enjoy!

It shaved great! Probably one of the best shaves I've had so far. The weight seems to make it a whole lot easier.
