Default Made me a shave brush

So, I bought an art of shaving silver tip badger brush off ebay, did not look close enough at it though and it ended up having a weird handle on it (I believe it was a ladies one) WOOPS! but I got it for $10 so not a big loss. Anyways, I decided that rather than getting rid of it or just letting it sit I would chop off the strange handle and make myself a new one. so here it is!

I carved the handle out of soapstone. I am not entirely sure how it will hold up but I figured it was worth a try and would look nicer than clay, or something of that sort, I would have gone with wood however I just dont have access to the tools that I would want for that. anyways, this is it haha would love to hear what you all think!

    Simply Marvelous !

Looks great - nice design, and that's a beautiful chunk of soapstone too!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thank you very much, It is somewhat heavy, but I have not found it bad to use, it fits the hand really nicely so the weight feels good in the hand I think. Though I only have experience with a plastic handled brush beyond this, not sure how the metal handle or nicer handles feel when your using them.
