Default Formerly lost Joseph Allen wedge.

Finally turned up after accidentally being delivered to a neighbor's house. Light sanding and polishing, nothing else done, really a beauty. I left the factory grind marks on the tang, it would seem a shame to remove them. Very very little pitting remains, and every bit of the etch is still intact.

I didn't unpin it or do anything at all to the scales. It really came in very nice condition. Now to hone it!

The neighbor didn't want to try it out?

If it would have been accidentally delivered to me I would have tried it and then forward it to you of course... someday!

It actually arrived postage due, so they left it a few days before finally giving in and picking it up.

Somehow though, I suspect he might not have wanted to take it for a whirl.

That's a beaut! As jc50 said, it's good to know it eventually made its way to you.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Yeah it definitely is. I sanded this one, albeit very lightly. Honed it last night, probably shave with it today to check my results.
