Shumate Vulcan
I picked this up about a week ago. It's a Shumate Vulcan in pretty nice shape.
I will restore it as best as I can but this is how it arrived.

Thanks Hirlau. The pin is not tight at the pivot and the scales are not quite perpendicular so I am thinking a bent pivot pin?
Need to replace it and clean it up a bit when it's unpinned. I am a little leary of taking out the pivot pin with that beautiful bolster on it.
Guess I will have to be real careful and use a hand file slowly under magnifying lenses like I do with plastic modeling. My son is a Drill Instructor in the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island, SC
