    For my first post on SRP, here's a shot of my new (to me) Friodur 72 1/2 received yesterday. Purchased from member kratos 86 on another forum. Had my first shave with it today. It's a sharp razor, any way you want to take that.

    congrats , i have a one that has always been a joy to shave with !! mine may be a #472 in 6/8 French point with worked spine !! holds a wonderful edge .. i have my eye on another one that i may buy when some cash-o-la starts rolling in !!

    I'm glad for the report. Be sure to add more as you get familiar with it. I have nearly pushed the button so many times on one of those--they look intriguing. I'm an admirer of tough steels, and sort of assumed that's what they'd be.

    Welcome and good choice, you won't go far wrong with a vintage Friodur. Love my stainless razors one of which is an excellent Friodur. Happy shaving.
