Default New restoration project, and my first true French point.

Well I don't know much about it I hope to get some info. Well it is a 15/16, has a French point, with a solingen primissima engraving, and Marx & C brand along with a water fountain mark.

That's a very nice shaped razor. The fountain mark is the same one from Fontana, Solingen. Excellent razors that take a very nice and sharp edge.

Is the marking on the show side of the toe a heat mark?

No it is pitting, but in no way affects the edge.

As you can see I got rid of some, but a little still remains.

Excellent job. I like a little patina/pitting on a vintage razor. I think it's a classy way to show a razor's age without it looking like a junker, kinda like "salt and pepper" hair for a gentleman.
