See this also for the same effect. Though it looks like this one has had work done on it, I don't think the finish is original. (from ebay recently)

Zak, that's the first time I've seen that one! Marvelous job & terrific work. It's a beauty. That reminds me of the Old English ones I see.................that I have a few of from different makers!

There was a nice one on the bay the other day with ivory scales for bin but it sold. I thought about it & passed because whoever did the scales didn't smooth 'em out good enough!
