Thanked: 1This post been a long time coming
Well, I bought a Boker quite a while ago. I waited until I tried it a few times before posting then next thing I know, a whole lot of time elapsed.
Anyway, I went to the SRD store in Medina, OH to buy something kinda basic to get back into Straights.
After looking at a few razors, in walks another forum member, fatRob59. Don's son starts showing him customs then some other higher end razors. I should've stayed on the other side of the store as they were looking good.
Well, he(sorry I forget Don's son's name) brings out some new Bokers that just came in.
Enter the Piccadilly.
The 1st one looked nice and got my attention, but when he brought this one out all 3 of us were impressed. It was the only one that looked like it.
Rob says man, you gotta get this. I of course said that he showed it to you first but he graciously deferred it to me. If I didn't know who I was dealing with I'd have thought he was a shill LOL. But everything about it AND the price being so good, I couldn't pass it up.
Anyway, it shaves great and I'm so glad a bought it over the lower end razors I came to look at.
I didn't realize at first that Boker numbers all their razors, this is #165, out of how many I may never know.
Don't worry, even thought it looks like it, the edge is not touching the stone. The apparent marks on the blade are actually excess oil.
So, am I now qualified for the Boker Brotherhood?Be water my friend

That is a great looking Boker. I like those scales, very tranquil! Congratulations!
I shave because I want to, not because I have to!
